Jen Bradley - Designs

From her studio base in the historic town of Tavistock, Jen creates a range of contemporary art works, in a variety of mediums, and makes handmade notebooks. 

 

With family roots in the West Country linking 18th century Sea Captains from Appledore and an inn keeper in the Tamar Valley, it's no surprise that the local seascapes, moorlands and countryside are a huge sources of inspiration for Jen.

From mixed media collages depicting the changing colours and light found on Dartmoor and the gentle movements of waves at sea, Jens work reflects a sensitive and perceptive response to the world around her.  With clean lines and strong forms, combined with a keen awareness of colour, her work is both contemporary and traditional in subject matter.

 

Her one-of-a-kind notebooks each have inner and outer cover designed and created by Jen.  Some have a  combination of bindings and embellishments, but every book is a unique work of art.  The inner pages are blank 140gms cartridge paper - use yours for recipes, verse, photos, diary of special days or holidays, gift lists, garden records, visitors books.  Just enjoy!
